Michael Alfredo Lujan

Michael Alfredo Lujan resided in Albuquerque, N.M. He was born in Las Vegas, N.M. Tuesday July 15, 1958, and passed away on Sunday May 14, 2023. Michael is preceded in death by his parents Cipriano and Petra Lujan, his brother-in-law Gilbert and nephew Santiago. He is survived by his son Michael Lujan JR, his daughter Sherry Alderete and husband Julian Alderete, his grandchildren Anthony, Samuel, Jazlynn, Jaylynn, and Julian, his great grandson Dominic, his sisters Helen Vigil, Georgia Hern and husband Hank, his brothers Richard Lujan, Johnny Lujan, Gilbert Lujan, George Lujan and wife Annette, his nieces Crystal, Miriam and Sara, and his nephews Dave, Chris, Steven and Jacinto. 

Michael went to West Las Vegas High School and attended college for meat cutting. He joined the army and after serving his term moved to Albuquerque. Michael loved working and staying busy. He retired from Bank of Albuquerque after working their 18+ years. He was always around his family and friends. He was an amazing father and pampo. His grandchildren were his world. He lived for them and did everything possible for them. He loved to fish and be the captain of the boat. When he wasn’t fishing, he was watching sports. He was the #1 Green Bay Packers fan! Michael was loved by many because of his heart of gold and helping hand. He will be truly missed by his family and friends.   

Funeral service will be held at Daniels Family Funeral Services - Wyoming Chapel, 7601 Wyoming Blvd NE, ABQ, NM 87109 on Friday, June 9, 2023 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, followed by a reception.
