Michael Milton Messinger

MESSINGER- Michael Milton Messinger (Iron Mike), 86, passed away September 30, 2010. Michael was the beloved husband of Bernice Messinger also the devoted and loved father of Susan Messinger Carrera, Nick Carrera, Debra Messinger Berry, and Peter Berry. The Grandfather of Stacy-Leigh Carrera, Jaime-Blake Carrillo and husband Anthony Carrillo. Rachel-Ann Good and husband David Good also of David Barnes Berry and Samuel Barnes Berry. The Great Grandfather (known as G.G.) to Michael William Good, Sophia Isabella Carrillo, and Joshua Levi Carrillo. He is also survived by a son, Paul Messinger. Michael moved to Rio Rancho September 26, 2010. He was most proud of his WWll service for his country; he was a Purple Heart recipient. He was a stained glass artist, was a rodeo cowboy as a young man and was also a recreational airline pilot. He enjoyed scuba diving, singing, water skiing, camping, golf, square dancing and ballroom dancing, he was bilingual and he loved to read.
