In loving memory of Michael Blake Paul

Michael Blake Paul, 30, passed away on March 11, 2026, in Santa Fe, New Mexico. He was born on November 3, 1995, in Los Angeles, California.

Michael was a devoted husband, father, son, and brother whose life was deeply rooted in love for his family. Nothing meant more to him than the time he spent with those he loved. Whether it was family vacations, simple moments at home, or time spent laughing together, Michael treasured every second and made sure the people around him felt valued and cared for.

He was a naturally social person who had a gift for connecting with others. Michael never met a stranger—he loved making new friends and had a way of bringing people together with his warmth, humor, and genuine kindness. His laughter was contagious, and his presence made any room feel lighter.

Michael attended Lancaster High School and went on to work at Little Caesars, where he met his wife, Celina. He later went on to work at Mission Linen, where he was known for his strong work ethic and the friendships he built along the way.

He is preceded in death by his grandfather, Michael Knisley, and his grandmother, Barbara Ann Bell.

Michael is survived by his loving wife, Celina Paul of Rio Rancho, New Mexico; his children, Lance Paul, Liam Paul, and Grace Paul, who were the center of his world; his mother, Tenille Bell, and father, William Bell; his brothers, Nathin Toms, Logan Toms, and Travis Toms; his sister, Mary Toms, and his niece, Vanity, who was more like a daughter to him, along with many extended family members and dear friends.

Michael married the love of his life, Celina Contreras, on February 14, 2020, in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Together they built a life full of love, laughter, and unforgettable memories over their six years of marriage.

He also shared a special bond with his beloved childhood dog, Balder, and later his dog, Winter, who was a constant companion and part of the family.

Michael will be remembered for the love he gave so freely, the friendships he formed so easily, and the joy he brought to his family every single day.

A funeral service will be held at Daniel’s Funeral Services, located at 2400 Southern Blvd SE, Rio Rancho, New Mexico, on Saturday, April 25, at 11:00 a.m. A Celebration of Life will follow the service. We would like for everyone to wear red for Michael’s Celebration of Life, as red was his favorite color.
