Michael Arthur Stevens December 26, 1957 - June 24, 2010 Michael Arthur Stevens, 52, of Farmington, NM, died Thursday, June 24, 2010, at his home after a lengthy battle with Multiple Sclerosis. He was born December 26, 1957, to Leroy and Barbara Stevens. Michael graduated from Grand Canyon University and Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. He served as a pastor in Texas, Arizona, and New Mexico. Mike's greatest joy in life was sharing his faith in Jesus Christ with everyone he met. He was a loving husband, devoted father and great friend. He was preceded in death by his father and infant daughter, Chelsea Stevens. He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Cindy; his daughter, Katie Kayser (husband Mike); his sons, Chad Stevens and Kyle Stevens (wife Michelle); and granddaughter, Madilyn Stevens. He is also survived by his mother, Barbara Stevens; two sisters, Linda Clark (Bill) and Cathy Poplin (Mike); and brother; Doug Stevens (Janie); and 9 nieces and nephews.
