Miguel Archila Galindo, age 38, passed away on November 25, 2025, in Albuquerque, New Mexico. He was born on July 15, 1987, in Albuquerque to Dalia Archila and Edy Galindo.
Miguel attended Sandia High School and graduated in 2005. He was self-employed and proudly known as a musician. Music was central to Miguel’s life, especially rockabilly, and he deeply enjoyed long conversations, long walks, and bicycling. Those who knew Miguel will remember his humble spirit, thoughtful nature, and love for meaningful connection.
Miguel was a member of Hoffmantown Church, where he found faith and community.
Miguel was preceded in death by his brother, Levi Archila Chavez.
He is survived by his loving mother, Dalia Archila of Maricopa, Arizona; step-dad, Tim Ihms of Maricopa, Arizona; his father, Edy Galindo of Houston, Texas; his sisters, Dora Archila Galindo of Phoenix, Arizona, and Raquel Archila Chavez of Albuquerque, New Mexico; and his cherished children, Wabbie Peters Galindo and Waylon Daquilante Galindo.
A funeral service will be held Friday, January 2, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. at Calvary Chapel Duke City, Albuquerque, New Mexico. Light refreshments and small goodies will be available beginning at 9:30 a.m., with the service beginning promptly at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow the service at Vista Verde Memorial Park, Albuquerque, New Mexico.
In keeping with Miguel’s humble spirit, those attending are invited to dress comfortably—blue jeans, a dark-colored shirt, and your favorite pair of shoes are welcome.

The family’s hearts are heavy, yet they are deeply grateful for the kindness, prayers, love, and support shown during this time of immeasurable loss. Thank you for walking beside them with such compassion.
A favorite scripture shared in Miguel’s memory reads:
“I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Henceforth there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, will award to me on that day—and not only to me, but also to all who have loved His appearing.”
