Myrle, known to many as Blue Elizabeth Hedlund, passed away Saturday, June 1st, 2024 at the age of 71 in Albuquerque, NM due to illness.
Blue was born May 24th, 1953 to her mother, Lucille Alberta Barrett in Groom, TX. She is survived by her husband, Wesley L. Hedlund Sr.; daughter, Renee Elizabeth Featherly; sisters, Marleen (Randy) Moore, Doreen Barela, Lorelei (Ron) Taylor, and Darlene (Errol) Schroeder; stepdaughter, Christal Barkley; stepson, Wesley (Anastasia) Hedlund Jr.; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, Joseph & Tami Ball, Peggy Sue & Jamey Lokey, & dear close friends.
We will celebrate her life in our hearts forever.
