Age 74, passed away peacefully in her sleep and went to join the lord on Sunday, September 11, 2016. Nadine was born on February 8, 1942  in Carlsbad, NM to Jerry and Hester (Smith) Spurlock. She lived in New Mexico most of her life, and has lived Albuquerque, NM since 1972. Nadine worked at J.C. Penny's, UNM Hospital blood bank and was an active member in the Holiday Park Church of the Nazarene. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Georgia and husband Bill Cole of Jackson Hole WY and half brother, Paul Earl Spurlock of Choctaw, OK. Nadine will be greatly missed by her son, Jerry Spurlock and wife Cindy of Jemez, NM; son, James Spurlock, sister, Geraldine Brown of Norman, OK; brother, Kenneth Spurlock and wife Janie of Raton, NM; brother, Ron Spurlock and wife Joy of Horton, AL; grandchildren, Amber Miko and husband Seth of Renton, WA; Jasmine Mathias and husband Paul of Denton, TX, Heather Sanders of Albuquerque, NM, Shawna and Jeramyah Spurlock of Jemez, NM; great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. A Viewing will be held on Saturday, September 24, 2016 from 11:00am to 12:00pm with the funeral service immediately to follow at 12:00pm at Holiday Park Church of the Nazarene at 11435 Montgomery Blvd. NE Albuquerque, NM 87111.
