Naomi Madeline Hillis Sylvester

Sylvester, Naomi Madaline Hillis Age 77, passed away peacefully at her residence in Corrales, NM Sunday, October 16, 2011. Naomi was the eighth of nine children born to Clyde and Hasbah Hillis in Cornfields, AZ on November 23, 1933. Naomi lives on thru her children, Deborah Blair and husband Brian, Cynthia Sylvester and partner Kim Melton, Scott Sylvester and wife Wendelin; grandsons, Thomas, Michael, Nicholas and Ettore; two sisters; many other relatives and friends. She graduated from Ganado Mission School. Her kind and compassionate heart lead her to a career in nursing, graduating from Methodist Hospital of Dallas School of Nursing. Naomi loved the Dallas Cowboys, Elvis, Sewing, stray animals and spending time with her family. A Memorial Service to celebrate Naomi's life will be held at 5:30 pm, Thursday, October 20, 2011 at Daniels Family Funeral Services, Sara Chapel, 4310 Sara Road SE, Rio Rancho, New Mexico. Inurnment will take place at a later date in AZ. An additional Memorial Service will be held at 10:30 am, Friday, October 21, 2011 at Ganado Presbyterian Church, Ganado, AZ.
