Nayisha Molly Ann Delaney had a big personality to match her big name and she was a delight to everyone who met her. She captured people's attention with her confident, determined walk and her glowing personality. She was happy, intelligent, observant, opinionated, bossy, confident, demanding and loving all wrapped in a big 2 year old body. She kept track of all the people in her short chaotic life and she knew everyone’s name.
Nayisha loved to sing and would sing the ABC Song and the Wheels on the Bus song loud and clear. She loved having certain books read to her and she knew the “My Puppy” book so well that she would read it to us. Nayisha enjoyed the outdoors. She was fascinated by the quickness of the hummingbirds but she really loved watching the neighborhood peacocks when they jumped up on the walls and roofs. Nayisha also loved flowers and she would wander around the yard looking for flowers.. Nayisha's greatest love was doing whatever her older brothers were doing, be it playing with legos, riding bikes, playing on the playground or playing hide and seek. She was determined to keep up and compete. She also loved being rocked by grandma and looking at pictures of herself.
In her short life she lived a big life that matched her big name. She enjoyed life and gave joy to so many people. We feel blessed that her spirit lives on in the lives of at least four other people because of her generous organ donations. Her heart is still beating somewhere. Thank you Nayisha for being such an important part of our life and giving life to others. We love you.
