Nazario "Naz" Daniel Sandoval
October 27, 1959 — June 19, 2022
Nazario “Naz” Sandoval, age 62, after a courageous battle with cancer passed away on Sunday, June, 19, 2022. His loving family was by his side, throughout his last days on this earth.
He was preceded in death by his father, Benny Sandoval; brother, Joe Sandoval; father-in-law, Marcos Salazar; and mother-in-law, Adelina Salazar.
Nazario is survived by his wife of 39 and a half years of marriage, Elizabeth; daughter, Christina Zalewski and her husband Ben Zalewski; son, Vincent Sandoval; mother, Susan Sandoval; sister, Vicki Gonzales; brothers, Ben Sandoval, Robert Sandoval, Paul Sandoval and his wife, Judy Sandoval; sister-in-law, Nancy Sandoval; best friend, Julian Gallegos and his wife, Lea Gallegos and their son, Joel Gallegos; and many nieces and nephews.”
He was a devoted husband, father, son and friend. His love of life brought joy to so many. His generosity was surpassed by none other.
He was co-owner of Quality Foods, Inc. and was a very successful businessman for 38 years.
He was an enthusiastic collector of neon signs, NASCAR, Indy Car and any automobile memorabilia. He was an avid fan of the Denver Broncos and Denver Nuggets.
A Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, June 28, 2022 at 11:00 AM at Daniels Family Funeral Services, 3113 Carlisle Blvd NE, Albuquerque, NM. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, 1900 Edith Blvd NE, Albuquerque, NM. Pallbearers will be: Joey Salazar, Eric Gonzales, Joel Gallegos, Isaac Sandoval, Jacob Sandoval, and Elijah Esquivel. Honorary Pallbearers will be: Paul Sandoval, Jr., David Sandoval, and Ben Zalewski.
