Neil George Johansen
Jan 19, 1938 - Sept. 20, 2011 Neil George Johansen, 73, of Aztec, passed away on Tuesday evening, Sept. 20, 2011, from cancer. He was born Jan. 19, 1938, in Manitowoc, Wis., to Elmer Johansen and Alpha Peters Johansen. Neil graduated from Lincoln High School in Manitowoc, and Lakeland College in Sheboygan, Wis. He was employed as a chemist who specialized in chromatography. He enjoyed fishing, photography and music. Neil is survived by his wife of 35 years, Kathy, of Aztec; and three adult children, Mark, of Cambridge, Mass., Terry, of Tucson, Ariz., and Laura Johansen Habel, of Thornton, Colo.
A memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 24, at Aztec Presbyterian Church, 205 N. Church Ave. in Aztec.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Neil's memory to AA, or the charity of your choice. Neil is in the care of Daniels Family Funeral Services, 804 N. Dustin Ave. in Farmington, (505) 326-3671. Published in Farmington
