To Know Her Was to Love Her Nellie Evelyn Williams, 82, of Farmington, died Saturday, April 3, 2010, in Farmington. She was born Sept. 5, 1927, in Healdsburg, Calif., to Norton and Roxanna Zion. Nellie attended Roy High School in Tacoma, Wash., and graduated from the Tacoma Washington Business School. She moved to Flora Vista in 1953, and married James A. "Red" Williams in 1958. They were married for 51 years. She was a homemaker extraordinaire. The greatest love of her life was caring for family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Ronald Williams; brothers, Ivan Zion, Robert Zion and Jim Zion; and by grandchildren, Tammy Lynn Hardie and Jason Todd Hardie. She is survived by her husband, James A. "Red" Williams; daughter, Barbara A. Hardie (Leo); son, Robert E. Williams, (Elaine); sisters, Norma A. Geesey and Ruth A.
