Nicholasa Mickie Sanchez

Sanchez, Mickie age 85 went to be with the Lord on Saturday, February 2, 2013. Mickie was a hard working woman who loved to garden. She was very faithful to God and active in church. She is preceded in death by her husband Juan B. Sanchez, son Tony Sanchez, daughter Elena Sanchez, granddaughter Matilda Sanchez, daughter Mary Lou Sanchez and son Gabriel Sanchez. She is survived by her children Sylvia Cerrillo and husband Ramon, Julia Garcia, Johnny Sanchez, Gloria Cerrillo, Frieda Sanchez and Gabriel Sanchez; siblings Carmen, Rose, Linda, Carrie, Gilbert and Tonia; 52 grandchildren and 63 great grandchildren. Mickie will be greatly missed by her family. Visitations will be held on Wednesday from 6:00 pm until 7:00 pm with a service to follow at 7:00 pm at the Chapel of Angels at Garcia Mortuary. Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 11:00 a.m. at the Emanuel Church, 3817 Barcelona Rd. SW. Burial will follow at the Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Alex Cerrillo, Antonio Acosta, Angel Cerrillo, John Ortiz, Freddie Padilla and Lawrence Segura.
