Norma Stuart Gentry, age 104, passed away peacefully on April 7, 2026, in Rio Rancho, New Mexico.

Born on March 27, 1922, in Welch, West Virginia, Norma lived a long and remarkable life defined by resilience, kindness, and an unwavering devotion to her family. Having witnessed more than a century of history and change, she carried wisdom and grace through every chapter of her life.

Norma was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother who cherished her family above all else. Her home was a place of warmth and welcome, where stories were shared, traditions were honored, and all who entered felt a sense of belonging.

She had a deep love for her family and her faith, and she found joy in playing the piano, singing, and appreciating life’s simple pleasures. Norma will be remembered for her generosity, humor, strength, kindness, and steadfast faith, leaving a lasting impression on everyone who knew her.

She is survived by her daughter, Hallene; grandsons, Thomas Gentry III and David Gentry; granddaughter, Daria Debroux; 11 great-grandchildren; and 3 great-great-grandchildren.

Norma’s life was a testament to love, perseverance, and faith. Her legacy will live on through her family and all those whose lives she touched.

A service is scheduled for April 22, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Daniels Family Funeral Services, 4310 Sara Road, Rio Rancho, NM, located behind Intel. A graveside service will follow. A reception will be held afterward at Iris Road Christian Church, 6380 Iris Road NE, Rio Rancho, NM 87144.

She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
