Omar Delgado

Omar Delgado, beloved husband, father and grandfather, who began his days with a song, prayer and a reading from the bible was called to Heaven on January 30, 2022 at the age of 70.  Born on December 17, 1951, in Camargo, Chihuahua, Mexico.

Omar is preceded in death by his father Oscar Delgado, and Mother Tomasa Segovia, and his sister Alma Delgado Torres.

Omar is survived by his loving wife Berlinda Delgado of 47 years.  He always said it was his privilege to be the father of sons Anthony Delgado (Lani) of Kailua, HI and Joseph Delgado of Albuquerque, NM, and his daughter Yvonne Stafford (Troy) of Brighton, CO and three grandchildren, Anson, Giovanna and Angel.  His brothers and sisters Alicia, Hilda, Elva, Oscar, Ofelia, Chava, Paty, Fanny, Chimis, and Beto as well as many other family members and loving friends.

Omar and Berlinda lived in Denver, Colorado for 44 years where he was employed by Weaver Electric Company.  After his retirement they moved to Rio Rancho, NM.  Fishing was his favorite hobby and Eagle Nest was his favorite place to fish in New Mexico. He was also an avid Bronco fan. Omar loved spending time with his family and friends.  He loved to tell jokes and stories that kept our home filled with love and laughter.
