Onnie Chavez Coburn

Coburn -Onnie Chavez Coburn, 88, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, and friend, went to be with her Lord on September 7, 2008. Onnie was born in Belen, NM on September 29, 1919 and grew up in Bosque, NM. She left home after high school and lived and worked in Washington DC where she met the love of her life, Haskell Coburn (USMC). They married December 4, 1943 and had seven wonderful children. She leaves behind her husband, Haskell; children: James Coburn (Corpus Christi, TX); Cecilia and husband Jerry L. Perry (Dallas, TX); Jeannette Coburn (Napa, CA); John Coburn and wife Robin (Atascadero, CA); Robert Coburn and wife June (Tijeras, NM); Dennis Coburn and wife Barbara (Tomball, TX); Rita Rice and husband Brent (Albuquerque, NM); plus 11 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. Onnie and Haskell moved to Albuquerque in 2005, and lived in the Woodmark for the past year. Funeral services are in the care of
