Opal “Lady Jean” Amburn

Opal “Lady Jean” Amburn, 80, of Flora Vista, returned to heaven on Tuesday, May 18, 2010. Opal was sent from heaven into the arms of Lena Delonia Jacobs Parrott and Angelo A. Parrott on June 13, 1929 in Silverton, Texas.
Opal was the second youngest of 11 children: eight girls and three boys. The family moved to New Mexico and settled in Sovoya, where she spent her childhood.
Opal married Troy E. Amburn and raised seven children in Flora Vista, where she lived out her life.
Opal loved Jesus, people and life. She loved children and animals and always had a houseful. She loved to paint, dance, fish, and rock hunt.
Opal was preceded in death by two children, LaNell Sutton and Richard Amburn.
She was loved dearly by her children, 17 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, and four great, great-grandchildren.
