Ora Mae Forney

FORNEY- Ora Mae Forney, 89, who was born on December 27, 1919 to the late Frank and Cova Ball of Newton, KS, passed away on May 3, 2009 in Albuquerque, NM. Mrs. Forney, a resident of Albuquerque, NM for 67 years was a cashier for several of the grocery store chains. A loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend, she will be greatly missed. She is survived by her husband of 71 years, Max H. Forney of Albuquerque, NM; son, Larry Forney and his wife, Joyce, of Albuquerque, NM; daughter, Wanda Braddock, and her husband, Mark, of Los Lunas, NM; grandchildren, Obie Braddock, Bryant and Michael Pritchard, Scott Forney, Deborah Rush, and Brenda Detmer; 11 Great-Grandchildren; brothers, Fred Ball and Vernon Ball and his wife, Lois, all of Eureka, KS; sister, Betty Ebberts and her husband, Ray, of Topeka, KS; and sister-in-law, Sally Ball, of the Kansas City, KS area. Mrs. Forney was preceded in death by a daughter, Rita Pritchard, grandchild, Dana Braddock; and siblings, Dorman, Corrine, Ron, Earl, Jack, Marlin, and Lorrine.In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the charity of choice.
