There are no words in any language on Earth to describe how we felt when our loving husband, father and grandfather went home Monday to be with his Lord. Owen M. "Bill" Carroll was born Nov. 25, 1923, in Huntington, Ind. He was a B-17 pilot in the Army Air Corps during World War II, and a master carpenter. He worked for Arizona Public Service for 30 years, including 17 years as a turbine specialist and supervisor at Four Corners Power Plant. He was married to the love of his life, Pat, for over 65 years and leaves three children: Michael (Linnea), Rick (Gayle) and Cindy (Fritz) Polk. The much-loved grandfather of nine and great-grandfather of 12, he is also survived by his youngest brother, Tom (Jane) from Indiana; and numerous nieces and nephews. A service to celebrate his life and honor his Lord will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 29, at Emmanuel Baptist Church, 211 W. 20th St. in Farmington. Military honors will be provided by VFW Post No. 2182 of Farmington. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Voice of the Martyrs, P.O.
