Pastor Phillip Apachito

APACHITO - Pastor Phillip Apachito, age 81, beloved husband, father and grandfather, passed away, Friday, April 30, 2010. He was born in ToHajiilee, NM and was a resident of Rincon Marquez, NM. He was a cattle rancher, silversmith and worked for the Bureau of Indian Affairs School system in Torreon, NM. Pastor Phillip loved the Ministry of the Gospel; he enjoyed hunting, horseback riding, bare back bronco riding and traveling to Ontario, Canada. He was preceded in death by his parents, Tom Apachito and Mary Wood. Pastor Phillip is survived by his loving wife Louise Apachito; his children, Tommy Apachito, Katherine Begay and Dorothy Chavez; three grandchildren; and other numerous relatives and friends. Pastor Phillip will be greatly missed by all. Funeral Services will be conducted Thursday at 10:00 a.m. at the Word of God Church in Rincon Marquez, NM, with Evangelist Berna Francisco officiating. Interment will follow at the Rincon Marquez Cemetery. Casket Bearers will be Joseph Pablo, Kevin Villalobos, Delbert Secatero, Ted Secatero, Sam Piaso, Jr., Jimmy R. Secatero, Sr., Rendell Cayaditto, Russell Sceatero, and Earl Cayaditto.
