Patricia Elena Sanchez

Patricia Elena Sanchez, age 62, passed unexpectedly from natural causes in her home on Tuesday, January 23, 2024 in Albuquerque, NM. She was the daughter of Jane Calvin Sanchez and Manuel Patricio Sanchez. 

Preceding her were siblings, Philip L. Sanchez (1953-2008) and Sandra C. Sanchez (1955-2023).

Elena is survived by her sister, Anne Mitchell and her husband Fred Mitchell; nephew Travers Mitchell and his wife, Jacey and sons, Hagen and Roark. 

An Albuquerque resident her whole life, friends and family will always remember her heart of gold, widespread generosity and playful nature.

Her passions included genealogy, trivia, and volunteering in the community for organizations such as Newsline for the Blind and Casa Angelica. 

A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, February 9, 2024, 10:00 AM at Prince of Peace Catholic Church, 12500 Carmel Ave NE, Albuquerque, NM 87122.  An internet live stream to the service will be available by clicking a link on the Prince of Peace website https://popabq.org/ home page. A Graveside Service will follow on Saturday, February 10, 2024, 10:00 AM at Rosario Cemetery, 499 N Guadalupe St, Santa Fe, NM 87501.
