TORRES-GUIDRY, PATSY
Age 61, passed away October 29, 2011. She was born June 23, 1950 in Clovis, New Mexico to Emily and Alexander Grzelachowski. Patsy is survived by her husband, Chuck; son, Anthony Torres and wife Lani; grandson, Kai; her youngest son, Joseph Torres and his wife Elizabeth; grandsons, Trystan, and Baby Joseph; step-daughter, Danessa Ballard and husband Jim; step-grandson, Tommy Cox and wife Lindsey; great-granddaughter, Lily; step-son, Michael Guidry; step-granddaughter, Kayla; brothers, Jerry Grzelachowski and wife Carmen, Tony Grzelachowski; sisters, Irene Torres, Mary Lou Willard and husband Don, Angela Petty and husband Tom Quintana, Ruby Petersen and husband David; sister-in-law, Becky Grzelachowski; nephews, Chris Grzelachowski, Steven Sepulveda, Joe Torres, Tyler Willard, Robert Petty; nieces, Lucy Tomlin, Geraldine Pearman, Jolene Estrada, Emily Grzelachowski, Melanie Sepulveda, Jessica Sepulveda. She was preceded in death by her father, Alexander Grzelachowski; brother, Johnny Grzelachowski; brother-in-law, Joe Torres. Patsy was born and raised in New Mexico and moved to Southern California in 1972 where she worked as a bank teller and also at Mc Donald Douglas where she then became the top FHP healthcare Sales Agent; it was there she met her husband Chuck 28 years ago. On a scale of 1-10 Patsy was a 12. Chuck fell in love with Patsy and never looked back. She was an incredible mother to her sons and a devoted grandmother to her three grandsons. She moved back to New Mexico in 2006 to be close to her mother and family. She was a wonderful daughter who always made her mother feel appreciated. She always made each of her sisters, brothers, nieces and a nephew feel loved and was always generous of her time and resources. If at any given time anyone ever needed anything Patsy would try as much as possible to make it happen. Patsy lived life to the fullest and enjoyed traveling, Country Music, Shopping and to tried to share her many passions with all of her family. She enjoyed spending time with friends and family at many different exotic locations. She was the life of the party and always opened her home for her friends and family. Patsy was an amazing person who never met a person who remained a stranger. Patsy was raised in the Assembly of God Church and was a great believer in Christ. She is now in the presence of our loving God. She was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all that knew her. Visitation will be held at 1:00 pm with Funeral Services following at 2:00 pm, Thursday, November 3, 2011 at Daniels Family Funeral Services, Sara Chapel, 4310 Sara Road SE, Rio Rancho, NM. Interment will follow the services at Vista Verde Memorial Park, 4310 Sara Road SE, Rio Rancho, NM. Patsy's care has been entrusted to: Daniels Family Funeral Services
