Perry Ashley

Ashley was born into the Black Streak Wood People Clan and born for the Charcoal Streak Red Running Into The Water People Clan. Ashley completed up to 10th grade at Wide Ruins Community School, Aneth and Bountiful, Utah. He worked at Forbes Welding and Fabrication, K&J Steel and Bodell Construction. His hobbies included traveling, going to powwows, dancing and being with friends and fishing. Survivors include his wife, Ann Ashley of Sanders; sons, Matthew Ashley of Querino Canyon, Marvin Ashley of Yuma, Marcus Ashley of Tulsa, Okla.; daughter, Melissa Ashley of Tulsa, Okla.; mother, Bah Y. Ashley; brothers, Peter Ashley, Phillip Ashley, Preston Ashley, Prestey Ashley Sr. of St. George, Utah, Larry Ashley, Leonard Ashley; sister, Jennie Slick, Annalee Ashley. Ashley was preceded in death by John Ashley, Prescott Ashley, Grace Ashley, Alta Ashley, Virginia Harry, Edward, Stanley, Clinton Ashley. Pallbearers will be Marcus Ashley, Matthew Ashley, Scottie Ashley, Ericson Ashley, Eric Ashley, Darrell Ashley.
