Pete Guzman Jr.

Pete Guzman Jr., age 94, died June 13th, 2022, in Rio Rancho, New Mexico. He resided in Albuquerque, New Mexico for 13 years and lived and worked in California for most of his life. Pete was born in Delagua, Colorado on Wednesday, October 26, 1927.

Pete was preceded in death by his parents Dominga Guzman-Vasquez and Pedro Guzman, brothers, Jose, Valente, Pepe (Joe), Tony, sisters, Jennie and Alfonso Sosa, and Blanche and Ferlo Bressan. Pete is survived by his nieces, Ellen Pompeo and Avis Sosa of Albuquerque, New Mexico, grandnieces, Ginelle Pompeo-Salazar and Mark and great grandnephew Cameron Salazar of Albuquerque, NM, Genna and Thomas Wortman and great grandnephew Aiden Wortman of Albuquerque, NM, sister-in-law, Alice Guzman, nieces, Amy Guzman and family of Germany, Mona and Ron Ellis and family of California, Laura and Mike Lang and family of Los Alamos, NM, Carmen and Dwight Smith and family of Albuquerque, NM, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pete was an electrical engineer and attended Trinidad State Jr. College graduating with an A.A., The University of Colorado – Boulder, and University of New Mexico.

A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, June 27th, 2022, at Daniels Family Funeral Services – Southern Chapel, located at 2400 Southern Blvd. SE, Rio Rancho, New Mexico, 87124, beginning at 3:00PM.
