"Phil"

At age 70, passed away Sunday, August 28, 2022. He was born in Albuquerque, NM on April 6, 1952, to Tomas and Estefana Ramirez and was raised by Fernando & Nicolasita Martinez.

He was preceded in death by his brothers, Nick Ramirez; Tommy Ramirez; Mario Ramirez; Donald Ramirez; Juanito Martinez; Gilbert Martinez; sisters Priscilla Ramirez and Evelyn Gonzales. As well as his biological parents Tomas and Estefana Ramirez and his mother and father Fernando and Nicolasita Martinez.

Phillip is survived by his beloved wife, Kimberly Ann Martinez and his daughter, Nicole Martinez of Albuquerque, NM. He was also survived by his sister in law's Josie Ramiez; Connie Gonzales; Antonia Ramirez; Patsy Galcatcher; Shellie Wood and, Cindy Wood. As well as his brother in law’s Teddy Gonzales; Kiko Ramirez; Tommy Galcatcher; Roger Wood; Bill Wood, and John Wood. Phillip is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and other family members.

Phillip attended Valley High School, and then began his semi-truck driving career, he retired in 2014 after 42 years in the field with various trucking certificates. He married his loving wife, Kimberly Wood on May 16, 1992, and have been married for 30 years. Phillip loved classic cars, going to car shows, working out in the yard, as well as watching classic TV shows. He loved his dog Jasper and his cat Simba.

He was a beloved husband, father, and friend. He will be sincerely missed.

The loss is immeasurable, but so is the love left behind.

Visitation will be held on Friday, September 9, 2022, at Daniels Family Funeral Services - Wyoming from 11:00 am - 12:00 pm.

A Rosary will be held on Friday, September 9, 2022, at Daniels Family Funeral Services - Wyoming from 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm. An internment to follow at Gate of Heaven.

Pallbearers will be Matthew Ramirez; Charles Ramirez; Stevie Gonzales; Elias Gonzales; Lorenzo Apodaca and, Michael Maestas.

Honorary Pallbearers: Kris Chavez and Manuel Martinez.
