Phillip Fredric Haase

Phillip Fredric Haase, known as Phil to his friends, and Fritz to his family, passed away suddenly in the early morning hours of September 21, 2023; he was 56 years old.

Born January 3, 1967, to Sandra and Robert Haase in San Jose, California, he lived in three states before settling in New Mexico. Phil married Cheri Dustin in October 1987, and they had three children together Wendy, Anthony, and Nick.  Phil is survived by his wife, two of his children, and four grandchildren, as well as his mother, his older brother Robert, two sisters Deborah and Tina, and many nieces and nephews.

Phil was a hardworking man who always had an easy smile and approachable manner.  He made friends easily and was a jack-of-all-trades.  He spent the last few years overcoming multiple health issues, and while his death was not wholly unexpected, it still came as a crushing blow.  He was very much loved and will be forever missed.

Phil will be cremated by Daniels Family funeral home, and a graveside service and internment will be held at Vista Verde Memorial Park in Rio Rancho, New Mexico.  The arrangements for the ceremony will be determined at a future date.
