Rachel L. Jones

Rachel L. Jones, 76 of Rio Rancho, NM. Was called home to rest in her place prepared by God, on August 16, 2021 in Rio Rancho, New Mexico.

She was born in Kedron, Arkansas on June 17, 1945 to the late Adam and Lillian Tisdale. She was preceded in death by her parents, as well as three sisters and three brothers. Rachel is survived by her beloved husband of 54 years, Jesse Jones, son Jeffrey L. Jones, sister Doris King, brothers; Fred Simmons, and Theodore and Jeff Tisdale, niece Angela Tisdale who attended to her care, and additional nieces and nephews.

Rachel was a dedicated military wife to her husband Jesse for more than 20 years, and was very supportive of programs supporting the lifestyle of enlisted families and service members, in the communities and military facilities where they resided. She was outgoing and strongminded, always offering her time and energy to help others in any way needed. In the more recent years, she volunteered with The Felician Sisters Convent in Rio Rancho, NM. 

Interment will be held at the family plot in Arkansas.
