Ralph L. Cecil

CECIL-Ralph L. Cecil, age 89, passed away on January 15, 2011. Born April 21st in Alta Vista, VA, Ralph moved with his family to T or C, New Mexico after the death of his father, Worley Fletcher Cecil. He was preceded in death his mother Sara Alma Mims Cecil; brothers, Frank (Florence), Bill, Harry, Glenn; sister Gene Greene (Joe); niece, Sheila Cox. He is survived by his loving wife, Doris; children Sarah Tighe, Roger and Donna Cecil. Ralph served proudly as an Army Air Force Medic in WWII, fostering a lifelong love for aviation. Ralph was employee of sears for 35 years retiring in 1983. He enjoyed golf, gardening, square dancing and spending time with his family and friends. Ralph was a wonderful husband, father, artist, craftsman, fisherman and friend. Ralph and Doris would have celebrated their 60th anniversary on February 10th. A celebration of life and reception will take place Monday, January 24, 2011 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at the Daniels Family Funeral Services, Wyoming Chapel.
