Randy Sanchez

Randy Sanchez, age 74, passed away December 7, 2023 in Albuquerque, NM. He was born July 13, 1949 in Corrales, NM.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Johnnie Sr. and Dioly Garbagni; a son, Alejandro Sanchez.

He is survived by his loving wife, Evelyn (Gurule) Sanchez; his daughter, Daniella Shyrock; his sons, Greg Carrillo, and Patrick (Shelby) Carrillo; his sister, Veronica (Richard) Gutierrez; his brother, Johnnie Jr. (Eileen) Garbagni; eleven grandchildren; and an extended loving family.

He was a proud owner and Master Barber of Randy’s Old Fashioned Barber Shop on Wyoming Blvd for 50 years. He cherished his friends and clients and treated them like family.

His smile and laughter will be missed by all.

A Visitation will be held Thursday, December 21, 2023, from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at Daniels Family Funeral Services, 3113 Carlisle Blvd NE, Albuquerque, NM followed by a Funeral Service at 10:30 AM. Interment will follow at 1:30 PM at Santa Fe National Cemetery, 501 N. Guadalupe St, Santa Fe, NM. Pallbearers will be: Greg Carrillo, Jake Sanchez, Jeremiah Brasel, Matt Stout, Philip Sanchez, and Arturo Archuleta, who will also be reciting the Rosary. Honorary Pallbearer: First Sargent Floyd R. Herrera, Retired.

There will be a candlelight Vigil held on December 23, 2023 at 6:30 PM at the Barber Shop at 1439 Wyoming Blvd NE, Albuquerque, NM 87112. All are welcome.
