Ray "Buddy" Gutierrez

Ray “Buddy” Gutierrez, age 65, passed away December 26, 2021 in Albuquerque, NM. He was born September 10, 1956 to his parents Teofilo and Connie Gutierrez in Albuquerque, NM.

 

He was preceded in death by his: wife of 22 years, Sarah Ann (Armijo) Gutierrez; son, Matthew Gutierrez; father, Teofilo (Werro) Gutierrez; father-in-law, Richard Armijo.

 

He is survived by his: sons, Raymond Gutierrez Jr (Desiree) of Albuquerque, and Christopher Gutierrez (Reina) of Albuquerque; daughter, Natalie Macy (Reed) of Maryland; mother, Connie Gutierrez of Albuquerque; brother, Michael Gutierrez (Dorothy) of Albuquerque; sisters, Jeanette Ortiz (Charles) of Albuquerque, and Sandra Gutierrez of Albuquerque; grandchildren: Selah Gutierrez, Christa Gutierrez, Desmond Ramirez, and Roman Gutierrez; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends. He is also survived by a special niece, Vanessa Ramirez (Xavier).

 

Buddy was employed by the City of Albuquerque Senior Affairs until his retirement.

 

A Visitation will be held Thursday, January 27, 2022 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM followed by a Funeral Service at 12:30 PM at Daniels Family Funeral Services, 3113 Carlisle Blvd NE, Albuquerque, NM. Interment will follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be: David Mirabal, Michael Gutierrez, Cohen Magine, Martin Gutierrez, Bryan Chavez, and Xavier Ramirez.

 

Due to the current pandemic, masks are required and seating is limited. You will be able to livestream it from the convenience of your own home.
