Ray Sanchez

Ray Sanchez, age 89, passed away Thursday, September 29, 2022 in Corrales, New Mexico.  He was born February 5, 1933 in Corrales, New Mexico to Benjamin Sanchez and Josephine Candelaria.  He married the love of his life, Corine Gallegos, January 17, 1959 in Corrales, New Mexico.   Ray retired from Oven West Corporation after more than 30 years of service.  He was a member of San Ysidro Catholic Church in Corrales, New Mexico.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Benjamin and Josephine Sanchez.

Ray is survived by his wife of 63 years, Corine of Corrales, NM; son and daughter-in-law, Anthony and Saundra Sanchez of Algodones, NM; grandsons, Dominic Sanchez and Isaac Sanchez of Algodones, NM; sisters, Alice Sanchez and Juanita Garcia, both of Corrales, NM.

Services will begin with Recitation of the Rosary, Wednesday, October 12, 2022, 9:30 a.m., San Ysidro Catholic Church, 5015 Corrales Rd, Corrales, NM 87048.  Mass will celebrated at 10:00 a.m.  Interment immediately following at Corrales Cemetery.
