Age 43, passed away Monday, April 18, 2016. He was born in Santa Fe, NM on July 29, 1972, to David Chavez and Loretta Martinez. Raymond was a lifelong resident of New Mexico, he coached baseball for R.R.H.S. He was a family man, loved camping, fishing, the outdoors and enjoyed cooking. He was also very dedicated to his company DC Home Improvements and very passionate about his tattoos, they each had a very special meaning to him. He was preceded in death by his father, and grandmothers, Nieves Gonzalez and Domingua Chavez. Raymond is survived by his mother, Loretta; his son, Raymond Aleq and his girlfriend, Gabriella Martinez, daughter, Samantha Chavez; siblings, David Hernandez, Jessica Chavez; nieces, Stephanie Chavez, Vanessa Chavez, Brianna Chavez and great niece, Jenesis Zamora-Chavez. Service will be held on Sunday, April 24, 2016 at 3:00pm Rio Rancho High School baseball field at 301 Loma Colorado Blvd. NE Rio Rancho, NM 87124.
