Raymond Neal Spence May 21, 1934 - April 23, 2010 Raymond Neal Spence, 75, of Farmington, died Friday, April 23, 2010 in Farmington. He was born May 21, 1934, in Dumas, Texas. He served in the U.S. Army from March, 1958 to March 1960. On Sept. 6, 1958, he married Lila Vaughn, in Fort McClelan, Anniston, Ala. They moved to Odessa, Texas, in 1959 where he worked for Marchem Chemical. They moved to Farmington in 1956, where he worked for APS for 17 years. Raymond was a 32nd Degree Mason. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charlie and Clara (McAnally) Spence. Raymond is survived by his wife and best friend, Lila Spence; two sons, Ray Glen Spence of Ramona, Calif., and Gary Spence of Warner Robins, GA; daughter, Teresa (Tommy) Henson; and daughter-in-law, Vicki Spence. He also leaves behind seven grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren; sisters, Geraldine Lovingood and Edith Hudson of Pampa, and Charlene (Joe) Alexander of Odessa; his brother, Bill (Ester) Spence of Plantersville, Texas; and his loving nieces and nephews.
