Rex Duran Harris

Rex Duran Harris passed away on November 12th, 2021 at the age of 66, in his hometown of Magdalena, NM.  He lost his battle with cancer bravely with his head up and a smile.  Despite the pain, Rex came out a hero and stayed strong until the end.

Rex grew up in Magdalena, NM a town in which he loved and in turn loved him.  You could usually find him at the Golden Spur telling jokes and making people laugh.  He was a great friend to have and would give the skin off his back for you.

Rex will be leaving behind a great family, two sons and three grandchildren that will miss him dearly.

Rex will be honored at the Daniels Family Funeral Home, Socorro; Friday November 19th, 2021 at 11:00am.  There will also be a reception at St. Mary Magdalena Church parish hall immediately after.
