Rex J. Henderson

Rex Henderson, 62, of Bloomfield passed away on Tuesday, Sept. 21, 2010. He was born on Sept. 15, 1948, in Albuquerque, to RJ and Opal Henderson. Rex grew up in Bloomfield and graduated from Bloomfield High School in 1967. He was a business owner in Farmington. He lived at various times in both Colorado and New Mexico. Rex was predeceased by his mother, Opal Henderson, in 2008. He is survived by his father, RJ Henderson; sister, Linda Caywood; daughters, Tracy (Shawn) French and Tana Hurlbert; grandsons, Paul and Kade; granddaughter, Kirsten; great granddaughter, Kadence; niece, Brandie (Brett)Paes; two great-nieces, Brin and Brier; great-nephew, Brogen; uncles, Floyd (Roberta) Henderson and Jack (Lavonne) Henderson; aunt, Ethel Garlington;and many cousins throughout New Mexico, Texas, Wyoming and California. Cremation has taken place and memorial services will be at 11 a.m. Monday, Oct. 4, at Desert Hope Primitive Baptist Church on South Island Street in Bloomfield.
