Reynaldo Tafoya

TAFOYA - Reynaldo Tafoya, born April 29, 1939 in Alameda, NM, went to be with his Lord Jesus Christ on Sunday, June 5, 2011. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jose and Alfonsita (Chavez) Tafoya; and his brother, Albert Tafoya. Reynaldo is survived by his brothers, Pantaleon, Tony, (Lucy) and Gene Tafoya, (Denise Aguilar); and his sister, Denise Tafoya Baca (Rudy). He is also survived by 12 nephews and nieces. Although Reynaldo carried the cross of being developmentally disabled, he was an inspiration to his family and to all who knew him. Special gratitude is extended to Steve and Juliette, his primary caregivers until his passing. Visitations will be Wednesday from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Daniels Family Funeral Services - Alameda Mortuary, where a Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. Final Viewing will be Thursday morning from 8:00 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. in the Chapel of Daniels Family Funeral Services - Alameda Mortuary. Service of Christian Burial will follow at 9:00 a.m. at Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church. Interment will follow at San Carlos Cemetery.
