Richard Guy Chester Jr., 41, of Counselor, New Mexico passed away, Friday, November 19, 2010, in Counselor. He was born August 24, 1969, in Oakland, California. He was a resident of Dulce for 10 years. He attended DZ School, Wingate High School, Aztec High School, and Fort Lewis College. He was on the Dean's list at San Juan College and would have graduated in 2011. He was a rancher. He palyed football and was on the wrestling team in school. He competed in bull riding and bare back events in rodeo. He was preceeded in death by grandparents, Betty T. Chiquito and Lucille Chester; and his uncle, Bobby Cayaditto. He is survived by Erica Vigil. They were together 15 years. He is also survived by daughters, Tashena J. Chester and Kyra A. Chester; son Cody K. Chester; parents Richard G. Chester Sr. and Shirley Herrera; grandfather Bill Chiquito Sr.; brothers, Johnathan Chester and Bobby Herrera Jr.; and sisters, Tammy Chester, Shirlann Herrera, Barbie Herrera, Queena Chester and Jaqueda Chester.
