It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Richard Cochrane on April 25, 2026.  He was born on May 28, 1942, to Chappelle Cochrane and Lelia Cochrane in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.  

Richard was a 1959 graduate of Fenwick High School and earned his bachelor's degree in chemistry from St. Joshep College in Rensselaer, Indiana.

He leaves behind his beloved wife, Angela Cochrane, his son Richard C. Cochrane, daughter Elisabeth A. Coetzer, sister Cecile Webster and niece Shannon Webster.  Also, his grandchildren, Richard Cochrane, Ryan Cochrane, Madison Cochrane, and Mitchell Coetzer.

He was employed by Sun Chemical for 35 years.  He enjoyed spending time on metalsmithing, gemogoly, automobiles, skeet shooting, and was a member of a fishing club and VITA IRS.  He was charitable who gave his time to filing taxes for reservation in New Mexico.

The Richard J. Cochrane wishes to express our sincere gratitude for the love, support, prayers and kind expressions of sympathy during this difficult time.  Your kindness has meant more to us than words can say.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
