McCOOL_Richard John McCool, Sr., 87, a resident of Rio Rancho since 1996, passed away on Thursday, August 20, 2009. Richard was born September 13, 1921 the son of Louis and Celia Wummer McCool in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He served in the United States Army during World War II. Richard had been a New Mexico State Police Officer until his retirement. He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Jo McCool in 2004. Richard is survived by three children, Richard J. McCool, Jr. and wife Vickie, Mark L. McCool and wife Sandy, and June K. McCool; eight grandchildren, and one great-grandchild. Arrangements are entrusted to
