Rick A. Nipper

Rick was born on December 2, 1954 in Albuquerque, NM to Robert and Virginia Nipper and passed away peacefully to be with God, surrounded by his loving family on September 26, 2008. He fought a long, hard battle against melanoma with courage and grace.
Rick lived in Farmington , NM for over 20 years and is remembered as a hard worker, an expert woodworker, a wonderful father and grandfather, and the most loving and supportive husband a woman could ever have. He leaves behind his wife Sue Nipper; mother Virgina Nipper; daughters Elly Nipper Foster and husband Dan, Meghan Nipper and Ryan Stock; step-children Jennifer Griffee Perrotta and husband Anthony, Brett Griffee and Cody Griffee; grand-daughter Izabel Stock; brother Robert Nipper and wife Sheila and sister Ginny Doxey and husband Bob. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Nipper.
Rick was a kind and gentle man whose greatest pride was his family. He was a master with his hands and crafted many pieces of fine furniture for family and friends. He loved blue-grass music, traveling, camping and fishing in the mountains. His family was blessed to have him in their lives and are better people for having known him. He will be deeply missed. All look forward to meeting him again.
