Robbie "Louise" Hardy

June 24, 1929 — July 21, 2022

Robbie “Louise” Hardy, who loved to be called “Little Grandma” by her family, departed her loving family on July 21, 2022.

Louise was born in Dalhart, Texas on June 24, 1929, to Carl and Eva Cathey Blakely. The family later moved to Albuquerque where she graduated from Albuquerque High School. She enjoyed her career as a bookkeeper for many years at Manzano High School. After retirement, she volunteered at a variety of places. Louise also loved Elvis and Frank Sinatra. She spent her 90th birthday in Vegas with her daughters, granddaughter, and great-granddaughters.

Louise was the mother of Connie Veitz and Karen Madison. She raised her children with love and devotion in Albuquerque with her late husband Willis Hardy. She was also predeceased by her brother, Garry, her nephew, Wayne, her son-in-law, Scott, and her granddaughter, Adrianne who recently passed away in May.

Louise was known for her kind heart and gentle soul and enjoyed the many friendships she made throughout her life. Her hobbies included gardening, cooking, and sewing. She loved a good craft show, doing crafts, traveling, and spending time with her family. She was most proud of her grandchildren.

She is survived by her daughter Connie Veitz, her daughter and her husband Karen and Bill Madison, her granddaughter and her husband Staci and Bob Sepe, and her grandsons Ryan Veitz and Christopher Madison.

Aside from her daughters and grandchildren she doted on, she had several great-grandchildren, Haley Von Straussburg, Alyssa Tethal, Emma Madison-Trujillo, and Jayden Williams.

A service will be held in Santa Fe where Louise will be laid to rest at the National Cemetery in Santa Fe next to her husband Willis.
