Robert L. Ashman

ASHMAN - Robert L. Ashman , 87, passed away August 18, 2010. Robert proudly served as a Boatswain with the Merchant Marines during WWII and was the former President of the Albuquerque Chapter of the U.S. Merchant Marines. Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Elizabeth; sons, Rob and wife Nancy and Mark and wife Amy, Ashman; grandchildren, Kelly and husband Stephen Smith, Valerie and husband David Gorm, Leigh Ashman and Peter and wife Miranda Ashman and great granddaughter, Addison Gorm. He was preceded in death by his sister, Shirley Ashman. A memorial service will be held 2pm Wednesday, August 25, 2010 at Glory Christian Fellowship, 2421 Wyoming Blvd NE.
