Robert F. Blunt

Blunt, Robert �Bob� On Saturday morning, January 18, 2014, a longtime resident of Albuquerque, Robert F. Blunt passed away peacefully in his home. Born October 15, 1923 in Steelville, MO, he was preceded in death by his parents and siblings. He is survived by his beloved wife of 21 years, Maya; his step-children, Marcus, Larissa; grandchildren, Shayla Roeder, Tsaaron Marcus Roeder, Nicholas Roeder, Katia Haley Haight. Robert faithfully served his country in WWII at the age of 19, stationed in the South Pacific. Bob served on the Board of Directors with the U.S. New Mexico Federal Credit Union for 32 years and Chairman of Board for 16 years. Bob was also a member of Elks Lodge #461. A Memorial Service will take place on Thursday, January 23, 2014 at 4 pm at Sombra Del Morte Church, 2525 Vermont NE Albuquerque, NM 87110, 505-298-6707 with Reverend Litton J. Logan officiating.
