Robert Noverto Garcia

GARCIA - Robert N. Garcia, 75, loving husband, father, brother, grandfather and friend went home to be with our Lord and Savior Friday, November 19, 2010. Robert was born July 18, 1935 in Manzano, New Mexico. Robert retired from the City Of Albuquerque after 28 years of dedicated service. Robert was a very caring and generous man. He was a dedicated member of the Knights of Columbus and St. Vincent de Paul, but most importantly he was a dedicated Catholic and his whole heart belonged to Jesus Christ. Robert is survived by his beloved wife Florinda for 53 years; together they raised a strong family of six, three daughters and three sons, daughters Geri and husband Rudy, Georgiana, Delora and husband Leo; sons Robert P. and wife Yvonne, Anthony and wife Yvette, Joseph and wife Christine; twelve grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; four sisters; two brothers and numerous other family and friends. Robert will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. A Visitation will take place at San Jose Catholic Church, 2401 Broadway SE, Tuesday, November 23, 2010, from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. with a reciting of the Rosary to begin at 7:00 p.m.; Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated Wednesday, November 24, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. also at San Jose Catholic Church.
