Robert W. Guyker

Mr. Robert “Bob” W. Guyker passed away peacefully in New Mexico on November 16^th, 2022, at the age of 74 years old.

Robert is survived by his loving wife Faith Guyker of Rio Rancho, New Mexico, his son Anthony and his daughter in law Natalie Guyker of Albuquerque, NM, his son Robert and his daughter in law Feng Guyker of Torrance, California, his brother Jim and his wife Ruth Guyker of Buffalo, New York, his brother Fred and his wife Trudy Guyker of Chandler, Arizona, his sister Lynette Guyker of Phoenix, AZ, his brother Chuck and his wife Maria Guyker of Gathersburg, Maryland. He is also survived by his grandchildren Brooklyn Guyker, Savannah Guyker, Ashton Guyker, Iulianus Guyker, and by his animal companion Beibei. Robert is preceded in death by his father William Guyker Sr., his mother Josephine Guyker, his sister Nancy Fafalios, his brother Jack Guyker, and by his brother Bill Guyker.

Robert was born in Pennsylvania on Monday, August 23^rd, 1948, to Josephine (Benedetti) and William Guyker. He attended Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, PA, and graduated in 1970 with his Bachelor of Science in Music Education. Robert enlisted in The United States Army and was honorably discharged with the ending rank of SP4. He earned a National Defense Service Medal and a Sharpshooter Rifle MI6. Robert married Ms. Faith Peterson on Saturday, August 6^th, 1983, in Albuquerque, New Mexico. They were married for thirty-nine years and had two children.

During Robert’s retirement he enjoyed listening to music, golfing, playing tennis and soccer, spending time with his grandchildren and dancing with his wife.

A Celebration of Life will be held on January 14^th, 2023, at Our Lady in the Valley, located at 2805 Don Felipe Rd. SW, Albuquerque, New Mexico, 87105, beginning at 10:00AM.
