Robert also showed dedication and genuine care for his community. Motivated throughout life by a dedication to service, he generously donated his time, talents, and energy to his civic community and charitable causes; he was a longtime member of Civitan International. His willingness to serve others extended well beyond his military career and reflected the values by which he lived.
