Robert E Ortega passed into God's eternal care on Saturday October 24, 2026.  

He was born in Santa Fe, New Mexico, February 21, 1957 to Roberto and Priscillana Ortega. 

Robert loved the outdoors. He was an avid hunter, loves fishing and boating.  Robert proudly served for 20 years in the United States Army.  

He was a beloved husband to Yvonne Aranda, a father to Antonio and Michelle Ortega and a grandfather to Vincent Tomas Ortega.  A brother to Dianne, JeanneRose, Elizabeth and Rueben.  

Robert loved to tell stories of his adventures with his friends and anyone who would listen.  

He will be remembered for his big personality and his giving spirit. 

He will be missed by all. 

Services are pending at this time. A memorial service will be held at Daniels Family Funerals -Carlisle Chapel. He will be interred at the Santa Fe National Cemetery with Military Honors.
