Robert Daniel Romero

On Thursday, June 1^st, 2023, Robert Romero, loving husband and father was called home to the Lord at age 42 after a hard-fought battle with his health.

Robert was born on June 29, 1980, in Albuquerque, NM.  On May 11^th, 2013, he married Nicole Romero and with her welcomed his daughter Jade into the world not long after.

In addition to Nicole and Jade, he is survived by his brother, Gabriel Ortiz, nephews, Gabriel, Ben, and Tony, nieces, Samantha, and Molly, grandmother Olivia Valdez, aunt Debbie Valdez, uncle Mike Valdez, and many other cousins, nieces and nephews.

Robert is preceded in death by his mother Wilma Romero, father Rocky Romero, his grandfather Eppie Valdez, uncle Ted Valdez, aunt Eileen Valdez, and cousin Joseph Valdez.

He was a follower of Jesus Christ, and his faith was an essential part of his life.

Robert was a shining example to others on perseverance and his strength was unmatched.  He had a generous spirit of giving and a big heart for his fellow man.  Robert had a passion for the Las Vegas Raiders and his Harley Davidson Street Glide. Although he experienced many hardships and health issues, he never lost his sense of humor.  He never gave up. He kept going until his body could no longer keep up with his will.

He is loved by many and will be missed greatly.

Services will be held on Monday, June 12^th, 2023, at New Beginnings Church of God, 4770 Montgomery Blvd NE, Albuquerque, NM, 87109. Visitation will be held from 1:00PM-2:00PM followed by a Memorial Service at 2:00PM-3:00PM.  A Dinner Reception will follow immediately after.
