Robert Dean Sears

Mr. Robert Dean Sears died unexpectedly in Rio Rancho, New Mexico, on April 13th, 2022, at the age of 52 years old.

Robert is survived by his loving wife Jo-Anne Sears, father Donald R. Sears Sr., brother Donald R. Sears Jr. and his wife Jodi, sister Donica Fernandez and her husband Charles, sister Cathy Sears Valdez, daughter Adriana Bardaro, stepson Drexel Fitzwater and his wife Laura, step grandson Bode Fitzwater, loving nieces and nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles, and many friends. Robert is preceded in death by his mother Laura Elizabeth Martinez Sears, by maternal grandparents Eliza V. Martinez and Adriano Martinez, by paternal grandparents Frances A. Sears and Lewis D. Sears, and by Uncle Louie Sears.

Robert was born on Wednesday, July 23rd, 1969, in Los Angeles, California, to Laura Martinez Sears and Donald Sears Sr. Robert attended and graduated from Cibola High School in 1987. Robert joined The United States Navy on Friday, March 6th, 1987, and served 8 years before receiving an honorable discharge. He attended PIMA Medical Institute and graduated with an Associates Degree. Robert married Ms. Jo Anne Kisner on Saturday, October 9th, 1993. They were married for 28 years. Robert was an X-Ray Technician for 30 years.

To honor Robert’s memory, memorial contributions can be made to Disabled American Veterans in lieu of flowers.

A Rosary will be held at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church on Monday, May 2nd, 2022, beginning at 10:00AM. Following the Rosary, Mass will begin at 10:30AM. Immediately after Mass, Burial will take place at Vista Verde Memorial Park.
