Robert "Bobby" Valencia

Robert was preceded in death by the love of his life, his wife, Frances Valencia of 45 years; daughter, Yolanda Pena; mother, Alice Garcia; In-laws, Jose Maria Sr. and Carmelita Roybal; brother, Tommy Quintana; sister-in-law, Jessie Roybal; special Aunts Helen Valencia; Virginia Brown; Florence Gonzales; and nephew, Ricky Romero. 

Survived by: Daughter Jennifer Valencia (John Paul); Son-in-Law, Leonard Pena; Siblings: Dorothy Marquez; Kathy Fernandez; Mary Jane Solano;  Stella Montes; Lourdes Addlesburg; Sammy Quintana (Joann); Diego Quintana (Sarah); Joaquin Quintana (Ruby); Martin Quintana (Bernilda); Vincent Quintana; Antonio Quintana; Angela Petty; Patsy Baca; Mary Lou Valencia; Alfonso Gonzales; and Paul Gonzales. Sister/Brother-in-laws: Lucy Yrene; Florinda Lujan (Vivian); Tiburcio Roybal (Marcella); Julian Roybal (Florinda); Viola Vigil (Jesus); Joe Roybal Jr. (Delfinia); Gloria Valencia (Horacio); James Roybal (Hilda). His furbabies, Monty, Pinky, and Jr.

Robert proudly served his country in the United States Army as a Staff Sergeant for 21 years. Serving was a theme in Roberts life as he continued on to become a Correctional Officer for the Department of Corrections, where he served for 25 years and retired as a Lieutenant. 

Robert loved spending time with his family, traveling, and going to the casinos. His most cherished times were dancing with his beloved Frances. He was a proud member of the American Legion Post 70- Pecos, New Mexico.
